Route "Dolina Strazyska" - "Wyznia Kondracka Przelecz" - "Kuznice". 17.01.2015.

The way up to the hill was mostly over the snow crust and snowshoes was attached to backpack so far (not heavy and well fit to ordinary side straps).
Snowshoes becomes quite useful on the way down, this is much easier than walking with regular boots. Generally, using it you are free to leave the common track and make short-cuts.
So the walking with snowshoes make you feel like an elf Legolas - walk on the snow, when the rest have to wade through the snow.
